Buy-Sell Agreement - What If a Co-Owner Divorces?
A buy-sell agreement or a buyout agreement is a legally binding agreement between co-owners of a business that will determine what happens if any of co-owner dies or is forced to leave the business in the future, or chooses to leave the business for any number of reasons. Believe it or not, there are many possible cases of co-owner’s leaving the company whether you like it or not, or even in an unexpected situation.
