Divorce Strategies - A Catholic Perspective

According to the Barna Research Group, about 21% of Catholics are divorced. This statistic is not much different than the divorce rate among mainline protestants or those who identify themselves as atheist/agnostic. Given that Catholic teaching forbids divorce, why is it so many Catholics are getting divorced?
